Per Hällnevik runs FH Skog together with his colleague Mikael. They are engaged in final felling and thinning. We head out to the forests in Gräfsnäs to hear what Per has to say and how it is to use the flatbed tank in their daily operations.
“The tank is very user-friendly! A great feature is that it has dual outlets, so you can have both a direct fill hose connected to the machine and also use the extra tank nozzle if you want to fill machines that don’t have a pump”, says Per Hällnevik.
The tanks are low-profile and available in 435 mm and 450 mm heights, which makes them suitable for all pickups with flatbed covers or roller shutters.
“The fact that the tank is lightweight means a great deal because the suspension of pickups can’t handle too much, especially since we’re carrying other loads that are quite heavy. We bring chainsaws, toolboxes, AdBlue, chains, bars—lots of heavy items.”
Our aluminum flatbed tank is a safe and convenient helper at the worksite. The lightweight material makes a big difference on, for example, your flatbed, reducing wear and tear on your vehicle.
Tanks used by PEFC-certified companies must be UN-marked and have ADR certification, but ADR-approved plastic tanks still need to be discarded after five years and must also have an embedded clock showing the manufacturing date. Our aluminum pickup tank has no such expiration date, and the rust-free and maintenance-free material also keeps the fuel clean during storage. The tank meets all the requirements that tanks used by PEFC-certified companies must fulfill.
We continuously develop our tanks and are always introducing new products. We do this to ensure your work can proceed as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Choosing the right tank really pays off.
“MPP is a local company with a high level of service and is easy to reach. That means a lot,” Per concludes.

Diesel tanks are an important part of many industries and businesses around the world. They are used to store and transport diesel fuel to vehicles, generators, and other machines. In this article, we will look at different types of diesel tanks, how they work, and what factors you should consider when purchasing a diesel tank.
A diesel tank is a container used to store and transport diesel fuel. There are many different types of diesel tanks, including stationary tanks used to store fuel on-site and mobile tanks used to transport fuel to various locations.
Typically, a diesel tank consists of a container made of steel, plastic, or another material that is safe for storing diesel fuel. The container usually has a filling port, outlet valve, level gauge, and other equipment needed to store and distribute the fuel.
Diesel fuel is used by many different machines and vehicles, including trucks, tractors, ships, and generators. In order to keep these machines running, they need access to enough fuel. Diesel tanks allow businesses and industries to store and transport large amounts of diesel fuel in a safe and efficient manner.
There are many different types of diesel tanks to choose from, depending on your needs and preferences. Here are some of the most common types of diesel tanks:
Diesel tanks function by storing diesel fuel and then distributing it to machines and vehicles when needed. The fuel is typically filled through a refueling port on top of the tank, and it is measured with a level gauge that shows how much fuel is left.
When the fuel is to be used, it is usually pumped out through a discharge valve and directed to vehicles or machines. Some diesel tanks also have a filtration system that helps remove impurities and particles from the fuel before it is used.
When purchasing a diesel tank, there are several factors you should consider in order to find the best tank for your needs. Here are some key factors to keep in mind:
To summarize, diesel tanks are an important part of many businesses and industries around the world. By storing and distributing diesel fuel in a safe and efficient manner, diesel tanks help keep vehicles and machinery running. There are many different types of diesel tanks to choose from, including stationary and mobile tanks, double-wall tanks, and underground tanks. When selecting a diesel tank, it is important to consider factors such as size, material, safety, transport, and installation to find the best tank for your needs.
Regardless of the type of diesel tank you choose, it is important to have the right maintenance plan in place to extend the lifespan of your tank. Regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of the equipment can help prevent problems and ensure that your diesel tank operates effectively and safely for a longer time.
All our farm tanks are certified as IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers), in compliance with the following regulations and recommendations:
